Background and skillsWe are looking for an experienced Sales Director to join one the UK's leading professional services and software provider for risk and compliance matters. You will be responsible for ultimately winning and retaining revenue by leading, managing and accountability for the “Sales Function” identifying, cultivating and
executing on opportunities and relationships to grow sales and repeatable revenue streams, while also fostering a high-performance culture within the Sales function. The purpose of the role is to drive company’s growth by retaining and selling to existing contracts and accelerating new customer and logo acquisition, in specific verticals to meet quota (quantity, type and timeliness) whilst aligning to the marketing and sales go to segment plans.
Running a sales team including business acquisition, account/ customer success management. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from finding new opportunities to developing highly compelling sales proposals and influencing the entire buying process, through to contract negotiations, closing business and finally initial project handover.
